Note: vv Katwijk, founded in 1939, have played their football at Sportpark De Krom from 1985 onwards. From the late 1980s onwards, the club has been one of the powerhouses of the Netherlands' Saturday leagues, with no fewer than four nationwide non-league titles to their credit. In the match visited by me, however, SV Spakenburg had the better of vv Katwijk, crowning themselves champions of Zaterdag Topklasse in a 0-3 victory witnessed by over 4,500 spectators.
