BELGIUM: JS Maffle (1970-1994) / RJS Ath-Maffle (1994-2004) / JS Meslin Grand-Marais (2008-)

Chaussée de Mons, Maffle (JS Meslin Grand-Marais, formerly JS Maffle & RJS Ath-Maffle)

Belgium, province: Hainaut = Henegouwen

26 VIII 2017 / JS Meslin Grand-Marais - Entente Acren-Lessines B 2-1 / Hainaut, Provincial League 2A (= BE level 7)

Note: JS Maffle, founded in 1970, became a member of the Belgian FA in 1974; in 1994, the club merged with RJS Athoise to form RJS de Ath-Maffle, with first team football being played in Maffle. Ten years later, in 2004, RJS de Ath-Maffle disappeared in a new merger, this time with FC Ath Sport, becoming R Géants Athois. As the ground in Maffle was now left without a club, JS Meslin Grand-Marais - a club with just one pitch, in Ollignies - applied to the Ath town council to be allowed to use it, a request which was finally granted in September 2008.
